Jio launched a new app to help the user make group conference call easily.

Jio has launched an app named JioGroupTalk. This will allow users to add up to ten people to the conference call in one go.

With the launch Jio, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance entered the telecom sector and shaken up the industry. Now it is one of the dominating telecom company in India. Another impact of Jio we saw is the merger of Vodafone and Idea. As we told earlier apart from this Jio has also a wide portfolio of apps for its subscribers. In December last year, Jio expands its portfolio and added JioBrowser. Again Jio has introduced a new app called JioGroupTalk.

Like other Jio apps (except JioBrowser), it is available exclusively for Jio users. This app will allow users to create and manage group conference calls for up to 10 members, while during the call you can remove or add new contacts or participants and you can also mute participants. The app support HD voice calling for excellent voice quality.

Jio has told that users will be able to add non-Jio users to the conference call. An interesting feature available in the app is 'Lecture Mode' where only one participant will be able to speak will rest of the participants will be muted, only be able to listen. A feature called Schedule Conference still coming soon. Currently, this app is under beta trial.

This app only supports voice calling, video calling, and group chats may be available in the coming days. Definitely, this app will save lots of time, till now user had to add contacts one by one for a conference call. To use this app you only need to install it from the Play Store and enter your Jio no. to verify.
