Now book train tickets without any extra charges on Paytm

Paytm was charging a payment gateway fees which was about 1.8 percent of total value on train ticket booking.

Paytm user can book train tickets without paying any extra charges. The move comes after Paytm's strong competitor PhonePe partnership with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer a micro-app platform on its app.

Paytm was charging a payment gateway fee which was about 1.8 percent of total value on train ticket booking. The action is targeted to encourage travelers to book the ticket through Paytm.

IRCTC is offering travelers to book tickets without any extra charges with a limit of Rs. 1,00,00. However, Paytm has doubled its travel customer base last year.
