Smartphone companies like Apple, Nokia have business in over hundreds of countries apart from its origin country but, one of the biggest problems they face, when they enter a new country, is to set up a new factory to manufacture their products. To tackle this problem they hire contract manufacturers like Foxconn.

Foxconn(Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd.) is a Taiwanese electronic contract manufacturer founded in 1974, now it is the world's largest contract manufacturer. It is just like a contract killer. Foxconn manufactures products for Blackberry, Apple, Nokia, Xaiomi, Motorola, Huawei and other major players of the industry. Foxconn has factories in about 10 countries including India, China, USA, Japan and Brazil.

According to Wikipedia, Foxconn factories produce estimated 40% of consumer electronics sold worldwide. It is also the world's fourth-largest IT company by revenue and also Taiwan's largest private employer.

Foxconn manufactures iPad, iPod and iPhone for Apple, handsets for Nokia, Motorola and Huawei. Foxconn manufactures Xaiomi devices in Tamilnadu, India. Foxconn to expand its plants in India with up to 12 factories. Apart from these companies, Foxconn manufactures products for Microsoft Corporation (Xbox), Sony (PlayStation), Amazon(Kindle), BlackBerry, Dell, Acer Inc., Hewlett-Packard, Google, Intel and Toshiba.
