Indian Air Force to launch a mobile game application soon, will be available in both mode: online and offline.

Indian Air Force will launch a mobile game for those who love to fly and want to be a pilot at IAF. The game is named, Indian Air Force: A Cut Above.

IAF is all set to launch a mobile game application for the youngsters, who dreams always being a pilot at IAF. This will allow players to experience the life of a fighter pilot. It will have several features, online gaming with a single player and online for multiplayer. The game is being developed by the developer named Threye: Military Games. Android users can pre-register for the game.

The motive behind the game is to educate people about their country's Air Force. The game will also give a medium to apply and appear for recruitments.

 Indian Air Force had also informed about this through their official Twitter handle on 26th Jan.

Single player features
  • Single player missions will be based on an engaging narrative, allowing the player to fly a wide armory of IAF’s aircraft assets. 
  • The player will be taught how to handle a high-performance aircraft in tutorials, at the end of which, the player will earn his/her wings.
  • 10 engaging and high action missions will allow the user to experience air power of the IAF, in the form of its response, reach, precision and flexibility, including support to other arms of the Indian Military, also aid to civil authorities in the form of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief.
  • The player will also learn about the weapons and strategy of IAF, and how IAF’s new acquisitions will help in realizing the IAF’s future strategy.

 Multi-player features
  • The mobile game application will include online multiplayer, where players can engage with other online players over the internet.
  • Multiplayer game will have two modes: squad vs squad (where players team up), free for all (where the last man standing will be the winner).
  • The player will have the option of using long-range missiles which go beyond the range of eyes, also to go head-on against other players in dogfight mode.
It seems like the game will be released in February.
